I am thankful. Sometimes I stop and think about my life... my little vapor of a life... and I am filled with thankfulness. I couldn't have imagined these days for myself. These loud, messy, funny, stressful, long, wonderful, precious days. My whole heart belongs to the God who not only planned these days for me, but is gracefully carrying me through them. He is more creative and clever than any human ever could be. I am thankful for the hope and joy that comes with trusting in the King of Kings. I am thankful that I can smile at the days to come. I am thankful for a husband who provides for our family and puts up with my endless number of projects and requests. I am thankful for my children who are learning to be patient with me as I learn to be patient with them. I am thankful for these tremendous days. I pray that I will not waste one second on ungratefulness.
